HEARTism Welcomes Temple Grandin for a Book Signing and Presentation!

In March 2023 Dr. Temple Grandin made a visit to HEARTism for a book signing event. Several hundred locals from the Bitterroot showed up to meet her, converse about  live stock, autism  and life on the spectrum.

HEARTism partnered with Rocky Mountain Lab for a presentation at the Hamilton PAC where our Director, Jessica Fitzpatrick, had the opportunity to share about our center and community inclusion.  Dr. Grandin delivered a presentation about her life and passion of helping those on the spectrum while also telling about her newest book Visual Thinking and it’s application in society today. She received a standing ovation from a packed house with standing room only.

Afterwards Dr. Grandin stuck around and answered questions and gave out more autographs. Chapter one Books came to both events and brought a plethora of Grandin’s books for purchase. What an incredible honor it was to spend time with Dr.Grandin learning from her knowledge and experience.
